In industrial environments, acids are important in various processes, from manufacturing to chemical synthesis. Hydrofluoric Acid (HF)

Hydrofluoric acid is known for its extreme corrosiveness and toxicity. Unlike many other acids that primarily cause surface burns, HF penetrates tissues deeply, making it particularly hazardous. Even at low concentrations, HF can cause severe burns, tissue damage, and serious toxicity if absorbed into the bloodstream. Specialized personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, and aprons must be worn when handling HF, along with strict safety protocols to prevent exposure.

Sulfuric Acid (H2SO4)

Sulfuric acid is widely used in industrial processes such as metal processing, battery manufacturing, and chemical synthesis. It is highly corrosive and can cause severe burns upon contact with skin or eyes. Moreover, sulfuric acid can react violently with water and other substances, posing additional hazards.
